Zeiss Medical Technology announced in a press release a strategic collaboration with Envision Health Technologies aimed at advancing glaucoma care through gamified virtual reality (VR) technology and VR-based visual function testing.
According to the companies, the collaboration will combine clinical expertise and software innovation to support the development of clinically relevant, patient-centered technologies for glaucoma care. The partnership also brings together Zeiss's experience in visual field testing and long-term innovation strategy with Envision's expertise in software-driven visual function testing and virtual reality technologies.
