In this study, investigators compared the Hydrus microstent against 2 large-diameter iStent devices in treating open-angle glaucoma in a standalone procedure encompassing patients with mild to late moderate-stage disease. Results showed that 38% of patients treated with the Hydrus procedure were medication free, compared to 18.7% of patients in the iStent groups.
