Nanodropper, Inc. has introduced a patient-facing tool intended to help individuals evaluate how effectively they use topical eye medications. The company announced the launch of the Eye Drop Score, a short self-check quiz available online, that is designed for people using prescription or over-the-counter drops for conditions such as glaucoma, chronic dry eye, or recovery after eye surgery.
The quiz asks patients about common challenges associated with eyedrop therapy, including running out of medication earlier than expected, treatment cost, and discomfort that may affect adherence. After completing the assessment, users receive a personalized summary that can be downloaded and shared with an eyecare professional.
According to Nanodropper, the goal is to help patients recognize potential barriers to consistent treatment and support more informed discussions with clinicians. The quiz is part of a broader effort by the company to address inefficiencies in topical medication delivery. The Nanodropper adaptor attaches to standard eyedrop bottles to produce smaller drops, reducing medication waste. GP
